Kent Police has released images of two people they believe may be able to help with their investigation into an assault in Maidstone which left a teenager with a fractured eye socket.

An 18-year-old man was walking along Loose Road at 10.30pm yesterday (August 29) with four friends. They were walking towards the town centre when they were shouted at by the occupants of a dark Ford Fiesta as it drove past.

The vehicle was seen to drive into Parkway.

As the man and his friends approached the junction with Heather Driver, the group in the car is alleged to have exited the vehicle before running down the road and assaulting the victim.

The suspects, five men and a woman, subsequently left the scene, leaving the victim with a fractured eye socket, broken teeth and bruises.

Officers would like to speak with anyone who recognises the man or woman in the CCTV images or who believes they have information regarding the incident.
