A Tunbridge Wells man has been found guilty of sexual assault in a Sainsbury’s car park

A Tunbridge Wells man has been found guilty of sexually assaulting a woman in a supermarket car park.

David Fuller, of Sherwood Way, denied putting his hand up the victim’s skirt outside Sainsbury’s earlier this year.

But he was found guilty when he appeared before Sevenoaks Magistrates’ Court for trial on November 2.

Piers Restell, prosecuting, told the court at an earlier hearing that the 56-year-old approached the victim in the car park of Sainsbury’s in Linden Road on April 6 this year.

He then placed placed his hand up her skirt without her consent and was arrested by police the next day.

The 56-year-old was found guilty and will be sentenced on November 28.

In the meantime a pre-sentence report is being carried out by the probation service.
